Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes. Fill paper-lined muffin cups half full. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. (batter will be thin.).
Divide the batter evenly among a lined muffin tin, filling halfway. Place sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder in small bowl. Decorate with peanut butter cup candy, cut-side down.
Place a peanut butter cup in each, then top with remaining batter, filling about ¾ of the way up.
Cream together the butter and granulated sugar for a few minutes using a stand mixer or hand mixer.
Line cupcake pans with paper liners. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine all of the cupcake ingredients in a large bowl or stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment.
