Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie. Stirring constantly, cook over medium heat until butter melts and sugar completely dissolves. Combine sugar, corn syrup and butter in a saucepan.
Spread the pecans over a baking sheet. Add the chopped pecans and chocolate chips and mix well. Pour filling into crust over the chocolate/pecans.
Add in the melted butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, and flour and whisk to combine into a sticky batter.
Use your fingers or knuckles to crimp the crust all the way around.
Whisk eggs until beaten, then add sugars, corn syrup, butter, bourbon, vanilla and salt, then whisk to combine well. Pour the filling into the pie crust shell. Pour into crust; sprinkle with remaining pecans.
